mystical madness
too hard to define

search for others
searching
what do I find

people unaware
of what goes on
in their minds

my thoughts
keep coming
at a maddening pace

no sleep for me
just questions
and wonderings

where is the silence
when it does come
will it bring answers
or more questions

I have a feeling
that questions
are going to be
constant
companions

some would say
this restless quest is
the punishment
for questioning

I say better to
question and
reach for depths
unknown
than to not risk
uncertainty

for in the uncertainty
God is
revealed
